A Study on the Diagnosis of Fatty Liver by Ultrasonography

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was conducted to investigate factors related to fatty liver diagnosed by ultrasonography and investigate the result between ultrasonographic tests of the liver and other variables. The results are as follows.
1. Normality was more than abnormality to ultrasonographic test in case of no diabetics, and abnormality was more than normality to ultrasonographic test in case of diabetics. There was but difference to diabetes in case of women.
2. There was significant difference between abnormality of the liver and ultrasonographic tests and BMI(Body Mass Index) (p<0.001), and also between abnormality of the liver and blood pressure(p<0.05).
3. There was significant difference between degree of fatty liver and diabetes (p<0.01), and also between degree of fatty liver and BMI(p<0.01).
4. There was significant difference between the results of ultrasonographic test and blood test of the liver.
